Stripe is looking for a Staff Security Engineer to join our Abuse Control team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about security and has a strong background in building and maintaining secure systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our abuse control systems to protect Stripe's customers and infrastructure from fraud and abuse.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our abuse control systems are effective and efficient. You will also be responsible for conducting security reviews and providing guidance to other teams on security best practices.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Tanggung Jawab:

  • Design, implement, and maintain our abuse control systems to protect Stripe's customers and infrastructure from fraud and abuse.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our abuse control systems are effective and efficient.
  • Conduct security reviews and provide guidance to other teams on security best practices.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and threats.
  • Mentor and train other security engineers on security best practices.
  • Collaborate with other security teams to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated security approach.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure that our abuse control systems are available and secure 24/7.

    Kualifikasi:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a security engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and principles.
  • Experience with designing and implementing secure systems.
  • Experience with monitoring and responding to security incidents.
  • Experience with working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to mentor and train other security engineers.
